Welcome to Windham Mountain Club!

Work Location: In-person role based in Windham, NY.

Seasonal Position: This part time role is available for the winter season.

Pay: $20-$22 per hour based on experience

Anticipated Start Dates: Around Thanksgiving or early December

Schedule: Will require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Conditions: Must be able to get to a from work in all weather conditions. This is an indoor position and outdoor position.

Overview of Position:

The Concierge Runner is responsible for supporting the Club Concierge in providing a warm and welcoming experience for Club members through a wide range of tasks. This role serves as a key facilitator between various departments, with an emphasis on errands in and around resort properties.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with maintaining a neat and comfortable environment in all member areas.
Ensure member restrooms and locker rooms are kept clean and fully stocked, coordinating with facilities department as needed.
Assist with washing and folding of laundry (towels, blankets, etc.) from restrooms and locker rooms.
Greet and welcome all members and guests as needed.
Maintain full working knowledge of resort programs, events, etc. and how to connect guests with relevant resources. Includes daily knowledge of weather and trail conditions.
Assist Club Concierge with various errands and tasks as assigned.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance, adhering to dress code at all times.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in guest service roles preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with members, guests, and team members.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Professional demeanor with a welcoming and personable attitude.
Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Adaptable to change in a dynamic environment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and maneuver up to 25 pounds.
Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to stand and walk on uneven terrain, including snow and ice covered surfaces.
Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach regularly.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
Ability to perform fine motor skills congruent with operating computers and smart phones.
