Shipping & Receiving Associate

Description

 Work Location: In-person role based in Windham, NY.

Seasonal Position: Winter seasonal role.

Pay: $21-$23/hour

Anticipated Start Date: Weather-dependent, typically early December.

Scheduling Expectations: Part-time shifts, including weekends and holidays. Early morning availability required.

Conditions: Mix of warehouse, storage, and outdoor work, including cold-weather environments.

Position Summary

The Shipping & Receiving Associate receives, stores, and distributes inventory throughout the resort while maintaining accurate records, organized storage areas, and high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and rotate inventory.
• Maintain accurate stock counts and transfer records.
• Deliver supplies to designated resort locations.
• Keep loading docks and storage areas clean and organized.
• Assist with inventory tracking and warehouse operations.
• Support other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems; Craftable experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Friendly and professional when interacting with staff and guests.
• Able to work independently and complete tasks efficiently.
• Available for early morning shifts and weekends.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for up to 10 hours.
• Navigate uneven terrain, including snow and ice.
• Climb stairs and ladders.
• Regularly bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, and pull.
• Work comfortably in cold environments, including outdoor winter conditions and coolers/freezers.Job Qualifications:
