Multi-discipline engineering firm in business for decades is looking for a Lead Civil Engineer for their Windsor office!
Responsibilities:
- Leadthe growth and development of the Civil Engineering Department
- Build/maintainrelationships with municipal clients
- Support/developvarious projects (education, energy, water/wastewater, public agencies, realestate)
- Collaboratewith other teams and departments to develop new business
- Pursue/deliverbusiness in the real estate market and discipline
- Providetechnical direction/oversight on projects
- Developthe scope of work, budgets, schedules, and plans for civil projects
- Managemunicipal civil projects
- Coordinateresource needs for municipal civil engineering project success
- Responsiblefor projects successful financial success
- Participatein trade shows and be active in industry/relevant associations
- Prepare/coordinateproposals
Requirements:
- Bachelor’sdegree in Civil Engineering
- 12+years of managerial-level, civil site engineering, land development, andproject management for mid to large-scale projects
- Businessdevelopment experience
- PELicense
- Knowledgeof seller/doer business model with public sector clients
- Stormwatermanagement and local municipal infrastructure design experience
- Extensiveknowledge of municipal regulations/requirements that impact land development entitlementsand permitting for Connecticut state, county and local municipalities
- Management/supervisoryskills
- Knowledge of MS suite including Word, Excel, Power Point
Salary iscommensurate with experience.
