At Carolina HVAC & Electrical, we're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Dispatcher who can take ownership of our daily service schedule, keep our technicians productive, and ensure our customers receive exceptional service.

What You'll Do

As our Dispatcher, you'll be the connection between our customers, technicians, and leadership team. Your job is to keep our service operations running efficiently while ensuring the right technician gets to the right job at the right time.

Dispatching for Profit & Efficiency

Strategically assign the right technicians to the right jobs based on skills, location, availability, and revenue opportunities.
Maximize technician productivity while minimizing drive time and downtime.
Continuously monitor and adjust the schedule to keep the day running efficiently.
Make smart dispatching decisions that support customer satisfaction and company profitability.

Customer Communication

Confirm appointments with customers after they have been scheduled.
Proactively contact customers throughout the day with technician arrival updates.
Communicate schedule changes, delays, and updated arrival windows.
Deliver an outstanding customer experience by keeping customers informed every step of the way.

Technician Coordination

Stay in constant communication with technicians regarding job progress and estimated completion times.
Ensure technicians have accurate job information and know where they're headed next.
Monitor technician availability and adjust assignments as needed.
Help eliminate scheduling conflicts and unnecessary downtime.

Schedule Management & Leadership Communication

Take ownership of the accuracy and efficiency of the daily service schedule.
Keep scheduling information updated in our dispatching software.
Work closely with the Operations Manager and department leaders to resolve scheduling challenges.
Communicate important updates, customer concerns, and operational opportunities to leadership.
Help improve dispatching processes and overall team performance.

What We're Looking For

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive problem-solver who can stay calm under pressure.
Confidence communicating with customers, technicians, and leadership.
A team player who takes ownership and follows through.
Comfortable working with computers, scheduling software, and phone systems.
Previous dispatching, scheduling, or home service experience preferred.
HVAC or Electrical industry knowledge is a plus!
