Utility 3rd Shift

Role Overview

The Utility/Corrugator is a vital part of our Corrugator Department in Winston Salem, NC. You will support the corrugator team flow by assisting operators, preparing machinery for production,stacking/unstacking materials, running a clamp truck, etc. to perform at peak efficiency. This is a fast-paced role perfect for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude who enjoy hands-on work in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Support: Assist operators in setting up and adjusting machinery for specific production runs.

• Machine Monitoring: Observe equipment during operation to identify malfunctions or quality deviations early.

• Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor maintenance to minimize downtime.

• Material Handling: Load raw materials and safely remove finished products to keep the workflow continuous.

• Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean workspace and promptly report hazards or mechanical issues to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to understand technical instructions and handle basic tools.

• Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing for long periods and performing physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials.

• Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work on 3rd shift, including overtime when required

• Experience (Preferred): Prior experience in manufacturing or production support, specifically within durable goods, is a plus.
