Allegro Winter Park is seeking a dedicated, certified Med Tech to join our Memory Care team. With both full-time and part-time openings on a rotating 2nd shift schedule — 3:00pm–11:00pm and 11:00pm–7:00am — this is an opportunity to bring your skills to a setting where consistent, compassionate clinical presence genuinely changes lives.
What You’ll Do:
- Accurately administer medications per physician orders and individual care plans for Memory Care residents
- Monitor resident health and document changes in condition promptly and thoroughly
- Collaborate with nursing and care team on resident well-being and clinical needs
- Support a safe, structured, and calming environment for residents with memory impairment
- Communicate effectively with incoming shift staff to ensure care continuity
- Uphold all regulatory requirements and community standards for medication administration
What You Bring:
- Valid Med Tech certificate — required
- Prior experience in Memory Care — required
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation practices
- A calm, patient, and compassionate approach with residents living with dementia
- Dependability and comfort working rotating 2nd shift schedules

Full-Time & Part-Time Openings Available
Full-time: 35+ hours per week
Part-time: Scheduled 8–34 hours per week

The Medication Assistant is to provide resident care services including assistance with self-administration of medication, to the residents in the Assisted Living area under the supervision of the Resident Care Director (RCD) according to scheduled duties and assist in maintaining a positive physical and social environment.
Areas of Responsibility
- Able to approach all encounters with residents, associates, and visitors in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Assist residents with medications as allowed under State guidelines.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care.
- Work closely with and maintain daily communications with the Resident Services associates to ensure continuity of care and services is maintained for the residents.
- Participate in resident activities and lead resident activities as needed. Â
- Meet customer service standards in a friendly, helpful, courteous manner with resident satisfaction a priority.Â

Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Minimum one (1) year experience with senior adults highly preferred.
- May be a Licensed or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA), depending on the state requirements; if licensed or certified, must be in good standing with the state licensing or certifying agency.
- Must possess current Medication Training certification.
- Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
- The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.
- Certification in CPR and first aid preferred or as required by the State.
- Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems preferred.
