What You'll Do
As a Pre-K Teacher, you'll help children develop the confidence, independence, and foundational academic skills they need for a successful transition to kindergarten.
You'll:
- Create a warm, engaging classroom environment where children feel confident, supported, and excited to learn
- Implement our Balanced Learning® Curriculum through meaningful, age-appropriate learning experiences
- Support early literacy, phonics, writing, mathematics, problem-solving, and social-emotional development
- Collaborate with your co-teacher as an equal partner in classroom planning, instruction, and daily responsibilities
- Use observations and assessments to understand each child's progress and individual learning needs
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children and their families
- Communicate with families about their child's growth, development, and readiness for kindergarten
- Maintain a safe, organized classroom that meets Massachusetts EEC regulations
- Work alongside your Education Coach and leadership team to continue developing your teaching skills
What We're Looking For
- Massachusetts EEC Preschool Teacher certification, preferred
- Experience working in an early childhood education setting, preferably with preschool or Pre-K children
- A strong understanding of early childhood development and kindergarten readiness
- A genuine passion for early literacy, social-emotional learning, and helping children become independent learners
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
- A positive, dependable, and professional approach to teaching
- Full-time availability
- A desire to continue learning, growing, and developing as an educator
