Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with state and curriculum standards.
• Teach a range of subjects, fostering curiosity and critical thinking.
• Lead student research projects that promote inquiry, creativity, and problem-solving.
• Support students through academic advising, helping them explore and grow their interest in science.
• Collaborate with colleagues and staff to enhance academic resources and research tools.
• Monitor and assess student progress through ongoing evaluations and provide meaningful, growth-focused feedback.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid Iowa BOEE certification and endorsements required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with students at varying levels of learning.
