Arbour Counseling Services is excited to offerĀ Full TimeĀ Clinician opportunities forĀ Bachelor’sĀ Level Clinicians in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Worcester, MA.Ā Our Partial Hospitalization Programs are group-based and short-term for individuals requiring a higher level of care.Ā Our teams work to promote a group that is therapeutic, safe, and supportive. The Partial Hospitalization (PHP) BA Clinician delivers direct services to clients, and may provide individual, group, family, or other authorized psychoeducational and case management services within the PHP program. Participates in interdisciplinary treatmentĀ planning;Ā and ensures that any services delivered are within the scope of training,Ā experienceĀ and general level of competence.Ā

Essential Responsibilities:Ā 

  • Acts as a liaison for children,Ā parentsĀ and MA level cliniciansĀ regardingĀ behaviorĀ 
  • Takes an active role in leading check-in, check-out,Ā psychoeducationĀ and lunch for all children in the programĀ 
  • Oversea that all proper recreational activities are taking place throughout the programĀ 
  • CanĀ assistĀ with obtaining insurance authorizations and case management servicesĀ 
  • Monitors child and adolescent groups and quiet room and ensure client safetyĀ 
  • AssistsĀ inĀ clean upĀ of therapy spacesĀ 
  • Accepts supervision and attends regularly scheduled team or supervision meetingsĀ 
  • Requires minimal supervisionĀ regardingĀ use of time and ability to prioritize work assignmentsĀ 
  • Establishes andĀ maintainsĀ effective working relationships within the agency,Ā communityĀ and referral sourcesĀ 
  • Oversea that all recreational supplies are ordered and continuously available for program useĀ

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social WorkĀ or related program, from an accredited college or UniversityĀ 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and clients/familiesĀ 
  • Must be proficient with written and verbal communication skills.Ā Must have knowledge of community-based and state agencies with regard to behavioral health services.Ā 
  • Must be comfortable with aĀ fast paceĀ work environment and handling clients in crisisĀ 
  • Nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency using problem-solving and practical skillsĀ 
  • Ability toĀ establishĀ trusting relationships through compassion,Ā empathyĀ and insightĀ 
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of clients from diverse cultural or linguistic backgroundsĀ 
  • Good timeĀ management skills necessary toĀ maintainĀ timelyĀ record keepingĀ 
  • Candidate mustĀ possessĀ appropriate citizenshipĀ work documentationĀ 
  • Candidate must pass a CORI and drug test, as well as other pre-employment documentationĀ
