West Sussex | £45,000 to £50,000DOE + Bonus

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to take ownership ofan established warehouse operation and lead it through a significant period ofoperational transformation and growth.

We are looking for an experienced WarehouseManager who has done more than simply run the day to day operation. You willneed to demonstrate how you have challenged existing processes, introducedmeaningful improvements and delivered measurable change across productivity,stock control, people, quality or customer service.

You will lead approximately 20 warehouseemployees through an established management structure, with responsibility forthe performance, people, budget and future development of the warehouseoperation.

The business is also preparing for a moveinto a new warehouse and office facility during 2027, giving the successfulcandidate a genuine opportunity to influence future processes, workflows andoperational practices.

The Role

·       Lead, coach and developwarehouse managers, team leaders and the wider warehouse operation.

·       Take ownership of warehouseperformance, headcount, wage costs and operational budget.

·       Improve productivity,efficiency and operational consistency.

·       Ensure customer orders aredispatched accurately and on time.

·       Improve inventory accuracy,stock flow and warehouse capacity.

·       Develop and implement improvedwarehouse processes and workflows.

·       Use ERP and operational data tosupport decisions and identify improvement opportunities.

·       Drive structured continuousimprovement and root cause problem solving.

·       Support the development ofadvanced warehouse functionality within the ERP system.

·       Establish, monitor and improvemeaningful operational KPIs.

·       Maintain strong qualitycontrol, health and safety and environmental standards.

·       Contribute to the planning andoperational design required ahead of the 2027 facility move.

About You

We are looking for an established warehouseor operations professional who can demonstrate genuine operational improvementrather than simply maintaining an existing operation.

·       Several years of warehousemanagement experience.

·       Experience leading managers,supervisors or team leaders.

·       Strong stock control andinventory management knowledge.

·       Experience using an ERP orWarehouse Management System.

·       Evidence of improving warehouseproductivity, efficiency, stock accuracy, quality or cost.

·       Experience implementing changeand improving processes in a structured, methodical way.

·       Strong KPI, analytical andproblem solving skills.

·       Budget and headcount managementexperience.

·       A confident, fair andaccountable approach to people leadership.

·       Strong health and safetyawareness.

·       Own transport, essential due tothe rural location.

Experience with Microsoft Business Central,Lean, Six Sigma or ISO standards would be advantageous but is not essential.Formal qualifications are not required where you can demonstrate the relevantoperational experience and results.

Package

·       £45,000 to £50,000 depending onexperience.
