We are currently seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing a career in metal fabrication and manufacturing. No prior press brake experience is required—we are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Position Summary

The Press Brake Operator is responsible for operating and assisting with setup of press brake equipment used to bend and form metal components according to customer specifications and engineering drawings. This position will work closely with experienced operators and team leaders to learn equipment operation, quality requirements, and safe manufacturing practices.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Operate press brake equipment under the guidance of experienced operators and supervisors.
  • Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and production documentation.
  • Load and unload materials into machines safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect parts using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
  • Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Assist with machine setup, tooling changes, and preventive maintenance activities as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality objectives.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to read basic measurements and perform simple math calculations.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Dependable attendance and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift (10-12 hours).
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of metal components.
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
