Per Diem Anatomic & Clinical Pathologist (AP/CP)

Pathlink is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist (AP/CP) to join the Department of Pathology at Pathlink at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Yonkers, NY.

This per diem opportunity is ideal for a pathologist seeking a flexible schedule while practicing in a collaborative, hospital-based environment. Coverage is provided for vacations, sick leave, and other scheduled absences.

Responsibilities

Examine, interpret, and diagnose surgical pathology and cytology specimens.
Interpret clinical laboratory findings and provide pathology consultations.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support outstanding patient care.
Prepare accurate and timely pathology reports.
Participate in quality assurance, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance activities.
Maintain compliance with hospital and laboratory accreditation standards.

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
Eligible for or currently licensed to practice medicine in New York
Excellent diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills
