BioTechnique is a sterile injectable full service CDMO providing cytotoxic and therapeutic sterile injectable fill-finish services.  From IND applications through commercial scale production, we provide formulation and compounding, fill-finish, and lyophilization services for a wide variety of liquid injectables. Your Role

We are hiring an entry-level Microbiology Technician to join our team! The Microbiology Technician I is responsible for supporting microbiological testing activities in a laboratory environment while ensuring compliance with established procedures, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and quality standards.

This is a temporary six-month position with the schedule of Friday – Sunday (12 hour shifts), with the potential for conversion to a full-time employee (FTE). This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates, interns, or individuals beginning their careers in microbiology.
  • Perform routine microbiological laboratory activities in accordance with approved procedures and protocols.
  • Prepare samples, media, reagents, and laboratory materials as required.
  • Support environmental monitoring, microbial testing, and laboratory housekeeping activities.
  • Accurately document laboratory activities following GDP requirements.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and work areas in a clean and compliant state.
  • Follow aseptic techniques and laboratory best practices.
  • Adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline; students nearing degree completion may also be considered.
  • Internship, laboratory coursework, or academic experience in microbiology preferred.
  • Basic understanding of microbiological techniques and laboratory practices.
  • Ability to follow written procedures and protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with GDP principles is preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • No C2C at this time
