Major Responsibilities 

  • Work with customers to load and unload mats from the yard.
  • Coordinate with logistics and sales to ensure proper inventory levels.
  • Repair rig mats, including wood and composite mats.
  • Operate heavy machinery, including a skid steer and rubber-tired front-end loader.
  • Sort, grade, and clean matting.
  • Occasionally travel to yards to ensure proper yard counts.
  • Complete all necessary operations and safety paperwork.
  • Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
    • Including, but not limited to, completing daily inspections, JSAs, and maintaining up-to-date training.

Preferred Knowledge, Education, Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous heavy machinery experience preferred.
  • Inventory management experience preferred.
  • General mechanical skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; able to relate well with customers and coworkers.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Clean driver's license (required).

Physical Requirements:

  • Be free of drugs and/or alcohol.
  • Requires strenuous activity, including walking, bending, crouching, and standing for long periods of time; must also be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be mentally alert at all times.
  • Work outdoors in wet and extremely cold weather conditions.
