Job Details: Job Location: FL, Zephyrhills - Zephyrhills Correctional Institution - Zephyrhills, FL, Position Type: Full-Time, Education Level: Graduate Degree, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Psychiatrist & Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Inpatient ServicesCenturion of Florida is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the Florida Department of Corrections. We are seeking a full-time Inpatient Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Zephyrhills Correctional Institution located in Zephyrhills, Florida, just outside of Tampa, Florida.  This is a male correctional institution providing inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services. The setting provides the opportunity to work closely with patients presenting complex medical and mental health needs within a multidisciplinary treatment environment.  Zephyrhills Correctional Institution hosts an APA-accredited Pre-Doctoral Psychology Internship and Post-Doctoral Psychology Residency program. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.Qualifications: ANCC or ANA certification as an APRN-PMH or NCCPA Physician Assistants with CAQ in Psychiatry of qualifications Active unrestricted Florida APRN-PMH or PA - CAQ license Active unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificate Must possess 1+ year of full-time onsite in person PMHNP experience  Prior correctional mental health is highly desired Prior locked/inpatient unit experience is highly desired  Able and willing to pass a comprehensive background investigation Work legally in the United States without sponsorshipAvailable Shift Monday-Friday Day Shift No nights, holidays, weekends or on-callWe offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including:Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance401(k) with company matchCompany paid malpractice insuranceGenerous paid time offPaid holidaysFlexible Spending AccountContinuing Education benefitsMuch more...Advantages of Working in Correctional Healthcare Ability to spend time with your patients.
