Rates: �18.21 PAYE / �23.15 Umbrella

Position Summary
This position will include the stripping down and replacing of Electrical items on Rolling Stock units. You will be expected to complete Electrical re-fits from written work instruction so you must be competent in this area. You'll be expected to test and inspect all replaced components including Software testing (on the job training will be given). This is a Safety Critical position and is a requirement against the Service Agreement (SA). This could also include the following:
*Re-install wiring
*Test Continuity
*Remove and replace lighting including emergency lighting
*Carry out basic Heating & Ventilation modifications
*Repairing or installing Wi-Fi systems
*Modification of PIS and TWS

Person Profile/Experience:
Previous Rail experience is preferred but not essential. Ideal industry's considered:
*Rail
*Avionics (commercial)
*HVAC
*Process Engineering
*Production Plants
*Special Purpose Machinery
*Defence -Submarines / Ships / Aircraft
*EX Forces Mechanical Engineer - Routine Maintenance on Aircraft/ helicopters/ HGV (REME, RAF, Navy)

Qualifications:
A Level 3 or equivalent qualification in an Electrical is a must
