Customer Service Manager

Our client, Senior Aerospace Bird Bellows, a wholly owned subsidiary of Senior PLC, currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Manager who will be responsible for all internal sales matters and sales processes across the business.

Delivering excellence is key to their vision in supplying aircraft and aero-engine manufacturers with the design, manufacture and testing of high integrity engineered components in many commercial and military aircraft programmes.  

Key responsibilities of the Customer Service Manager will include:

• Management of daily workflow through the Customer Service department
• Maintaining key existing customer portfolios
• Responding and managing customer enquiries and customer orders
• Provision of regular sales information metrics
• Pricing and contract review management
• Responsibility for quotation follow ups, customer feedback and concerns
• Assist Sales Process and development of CRM onto internal platform
• Line management responsibility of customer representatives team
• Operate professionally and effectively regarding internal sales and sales excellence activities

To be successful in this role you will need the following attributes:

• Experience in a dynamic sales operations environment
• Proven ability to build rapport with both team and customers
• Ability to produce and analyse complex information
• Demonstrate strong influencing skills
• Success in managing customer complaints
• Previous experience of sales order processing system
• Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
• Experienced at managing a team
• Ability to identify system/process improvements
• CMI level 5  (or equivalent)
• Customer Service Qualification  (NVQ or similar)
