Engineered Products Manufacturing Manager

GBR Recruitment are working exclusively with a leading & innovative high capital complexed Engineered Products Manufacturing company�recruiting for an experienced Engineered Products Manufacturing Manager to lead the complexed world class quality manufacturing of high capital state of the art products sold across the Globe.�

You will have knowledge of some or all of the following; GRP Composite Moulds (Glass reinforced / Fibreglass), Key Parts and Components Assembly (Hydraulics, Electronics, Electrics, Mechanical, HVAC, Stainless Steel�etc.)��

You will be from a comparable role with experience of manufacturing�highly complex high capital engineered product ranges, working with critical-to-function components, sub-assemblies completing high end�products consistently, to world-class quality standards expected by our clients customers.

This role would suit someone from Automotive, Aerospace, F1, Construction Machinery, Specialist Vehicles or similar full build assembly line processes from start to finish (skeleton of a vehicle to the finished fully built vehicle completion).�

You will be working Monday to Friday days (no shifts).�

Duties:

• Managing & Leading effectively the�Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Team to support production�operations with all current�production activity, new model introduction (NPD/NPI) and continuous improvement (SQDC), across all parts of the manufacturing assembly lines.�
• Devise the ME Plan supporting the whole operation.
• Creation, execution and delivery of CI improvement projects (SQDC).
• Operations Analysis (Analysis of Hours of build, lost time, MI data report)
• Effective implementation of the new manufacturing operations standards and processes (standardised work, visual management, parts management, training/skills and tooling/equipment).
• Setting up Assembly lines for the introduction of new vehicle lines.�
• Monitoring performance of the team, coaching, mentoring & developing.
• Ensure ME department is�consistent & in line with the set�business plans.
• Key player in Project Management & Project support duties / tasks.
• Supporting R&D, NPD, NPI activity helping to bring new vehicles.�

Experience:�

• High capital complex vehicle builds experience in an assembly line process such as�Automotive, Aerospace, F1, Construction Machinery, Specialist Vehicles or very similar bringing many components together.
• Manufacturing of Engineered Products Management experience (a must)
• Project Management / Project Lead experience�
• Able to produce Data Analysis of Operations & MI / KPI's for review
• Engineering qualifications & time served in a comparable role�
