This is a permanent position, working full-time hours (Monday – Thursday 9am – 4:30pm, Friday 9am-4pm). THE ROLEAs Sales Office Administrator, your key accountability will be to provide administrative support to the external sales team and customers, in what is a multi-faceted administration role.
You will report to the Office Manager whereby you will work within a team of three and you will also regularly liaise with international colleagues.
Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Providing support to the external sales team on a daily basis, via telephone and email. This will involve providing ongoing support and advice.Stock control – managing stock levels on a monthly basis, including the movement of stock in and out.
Some sales order processing, including taking orders via telephone.Handling incoming calls from a range of stakeholders, primarily customers who include members of the general public and those within the company’s supply chain.Providing generalist administration support.
Liaising and building relationships with international colleagues.You will work within a small team, where you will each have your own responsibilities but equally be prepared to support each other and provide cover when necessary.THE EXPERIENCEThis role will be suitable if you have worked within an administrative position in an office environment, however experience is not essential.
The organisation uses Sage Accountancy System and so any experience of this would be advantageous, although this is not a necessity. You will need to have excellent experience of using MS Office.You will be outgoing, confident and have a natural curiosity and interest for the role, whereby you will become a truly valued member of the business.
