Elevation Marketing are delighted to be partnering with The Employee Ownership Association to recruit a fantastic role for Head of Communications and Policy.
The EOA is the 'go to' place to develop good employee ownership. A 550+ corporate membership association, supporting businesses of all sizes and from all sectors to become employee owned and then to develop and thrive as employee-owned organisations.
The EOA is embarking on an ambitious new strategy that looks to seize the political, cultural, and digital opportunities in front of us to sustain the continued growth of the EO community. This growth will deliver greater corporate diversity and economic resilience across the UK, positioning EO businesses as a mainstream solution to our economic recovery and long-term future.
The Head of Communications and Policy is a fixed term 9 month contract and will play a key part of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for providing expertise on reaching and influencing all stakeholders and develop relationships with a range of stakeholders, from EO businesses, partners, business networks, public sector bodies and the wider economy and public.
The successful incumbent will be tasked with increasing awareness and profile of the EOA. With strong writing and media skills you will utilise multiple online platforms to engage with your targeted audiences. Whilst also playing a key part in the companies digital transformation to ensure the most relevant online communication tools are maximised.
Duties & Responsibilities;
*Develop corporate communication strategy
*Manage the website content
*Working closely with NPD teams to produce new ideas, that will contribute towards building a future pipeline for your portfolio
*Ensure all channels are populated with relevant content, producing engaging material
*Managing the Communication policy team, delivering digital activities
This is an exciting new role with Global Brands who offer fantastic career opportunities. The role will suit an experienced Brand Executive who is looking to take their next step up. Ideally a professional who has previously worked within FMCG or Consumer durables. Someone who is passionate in driving brand awareness and has an enthusiasm for bringing new ideas to the table.
Skills & Experience:
*Minimum 4 years experience within external communications
*Excellent leadership skills with previous experience of line management
*Excellent creative writing skills
*Experience of working with a vast range of online media platforms and how to utilise them effectively
*Strong project management skills.
*Proactive, driven and innovative
