SEN TeacherFull timePermanent RoleVision for Education are working closely with The Open Care Group to recruit a talented SEN specialist Teacher for a full time, permanent role commencing in February 2022.This is an exciting opportunity to take on a brand new role within an alternative provision based in a small village to the west of Hull.
Initially you will be employed through Vision for Education, pending a 3 month probation review where you will then transfer on to a permanent contract with The Open Care Group.The RoleYou will develop lesson plans and deliver them to a child aged 12 with severe ASC and complex needs, working at a lower Key Stage 2 level.
You will manage behaviour and provide emotional support whilst working alongside a teaching assistant.Salary is dependent on experience, training and/or qualificationsRequirements:UK QTS is desirable but not essential. Unqualified teachers with significant experience in a similar role will also be consideredExperience working with severe AutismBehaviour management skillsAvailable 5 days per week (part time hours may be considered for the right candidate)Applications from ECTs welcome!
