You will need to be:

• SWE registered
• Eligible to work in the UK

Job Description:

To hold responsibility for young offenders aged 10-17 on statutory Court orders and to supervise these in line with National Standards and other legislation related to Children and young people.

• To work with the families/guardians of Children and young people

• To liaise with and work jointly with partner agencies in pursuit of the main purpose of the role.

• To establish and maintain effective working relationships within multi-agency setting and share information as required by the Royal Borough's information exchange protocol

• To operate within the context of Crime and Disorder Act 1998 and other relevant criminal justice and child care legislation

• To assess young people using AssetPlus and / or other appropriate assessments and prepare court reports and to represent the Youth Offending Team in court settings.
