With an array of products and the use of a trade counter and daily delivery service this company is looking to appoint a talented Business Development Manager that can drive sales and build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships, predominantly dealing with tradesmen, especially tilers.

Comes with a salary circa 55k plus commissions package.This is a fantastic opportunity and offers career progression and various training schemes available for all staff.Day-to-day roles for the successful Business Development Manager: Identification and development of new business opportunities from new tradesmen and dormant accounts.

Mainly internal, customer telephone sales role calling contractors. Meeting clients that call in to the trade counter and developing relationships. Occasionally calling on clients where that is deemed necessary.Liaising with manufacturers to secure the best terms possible when quoting on large enquiries and seeing them through to completion and beyond.

Maintaining and growing our customer base by selling the company's wide range of products whilst delivering an unrivalled customer service, developing relationships and encouraging repeat business.

Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, suggesting new product lines and helping to source for proposal to the Directors.Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating terms of deals and helping get payments when necessary.

Assist with the opening up of additional trade counters, working with the Director in all aspects of setting up the store, recruiting store manager, store layout, offers, and promotions and opening event.I am eager to speak with Business Development Managers who have the below: This role would suit someone that has proven success in the hire, tiling and trade counter industry.

Excellent verbal skills and good writing skills with a positive and hardworking attitude with the ability to work under pressure.A proven track record of working in sales, dynamic with a good sense of humour and a passion for achievement and success.
