Warehouse Assistant

Main Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, by hand or with a forklift truck
• Receipt of goods - checking goods for damage, quality or missing items and complete put away process.
• Using Mechanical Handling Equipment i.e. forklift trucks to move goods around
• Picking and packing orders
• Carry out repairs/inspections on products and complete reports as required
• Establish a good understanding of health and safety policies of the Company and ensure that staff uphold these policies
• Coordinating transport, delivery and collection
• Maximise warehouse space and function
• Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse

Who are we looking for

Qualifications and Experience

We believe that the ideal candidate has the following qualifications and experiences:

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
• Counterbalance forklift licence - preferrable
