Senior Digital Designer
My client is currently recruiting a Senior Digital Designer to join the growing User Experience and Digital Design Team to be a guardian for the design of their brand’s online presence, creating best-in-class digital experiences for their customers in the UK and across all international sites, including the US and Germany.
You will be a proactive, organised, and collaborative designer, working across multiple teams including UX, creative, content and trade. You will be user-centric in your approach, striving to think differently, push boundaries and create engaging, innovative, and meaningful experiences for my clients' customers.
You will:Create responsive web templates and concepts across the digital experience from ideas through to high fidelity outputs, including interactions and animationsCollaborate with content and UX to understand the brief, customer and business needs and prototype new ideas/ templates to gather user and stakeholder feedbackWork closely with developers to build new templates and features from idea stage through to UAT, diligently ensuring web and accessibility standards are metMaintain and enhance our design library and guidelines to drive consistency across touchpoints and support/coach artworkers to ensure design standards are adhered toPro-actively share designs and gather feedback in a timely manner with design peers and the wider business to constantly improve and evolveBe up to date with industry/ tech trends and strive to innovate beyond these by engaging and sharing with the wider digital creative communityYou’ll have:Proven experience working in a web design role within a retail E-Commerce environment, luxury brand or online editorialAn impressive portfolio and passion for outstanding digital work that showcases both your creative and technical abilityProven responsive design experience and knowledge of designing and testing design outputs across multiple digital touchpointsExperience working with UX designers and researchers to design customer-centricallyExcellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally from gathering requirements to sharing across the wider businessA passion for digital industry developments and a strong interest in fashion, online editorial, retail and product.
Working knowledge of latest design tooling, including Figma, XD, Photoshop, After Effects and IllustratorA thorough understanding and proven application of accessibility and web design standardsUnderstanding of designing content for/within a CMS such as Adobe Experience ManagerA basic understanding of HTML and CSSBenefits:Private healthcare£2.
