Job title: Head of Digital/Senior Digital ManagerLocation: LondonSalary: GBP 80kReports to: Chief Marketing OfficerLine reports: 2About the roleTo drive our global reach our partners are opening a London office for marketing and technology operations and require an experienced HoD/Senior Digital Manager to set up and drive our digital operations.
As the HoD/Senior Digital Manager your role is to set the digital strategy and drive the programme of work required to deliver the infrastructure and processes required to achieve the acquisition and retention targets for the business.You’ll be selecting and managing the technology, agencies and team needed to get the job done.
There will be plenty of exposure to the board and senior executives.To succeed in this role, you will have a determination to succeed and experience in building and leading a team. A passion for delivering great user experiences and all things digital while working autonomously.
Responsibilities & duties: * Define and deliver the omni-channel digital strategy to drive the acquisition and retention. Ensuring Exec engagement at inception and monthly. * Implementing MVT and SEO best practice while ensuring all content and marketing campaigns are delivered compliantly and on time.
* Lead on all client acquisition activity building out, optimising and improving all channels (PPC, SEO, affiliates, Refer a friend, display, social) * Drive the technical capability and processes to deliver omni-channel client engagement.
(email, SMS, phone, notifications, livechat & chatbot) * Select and manage agencies and technology partners to support activities * Define and manage the digital budget required to deliver the required programme of activity, work with Finance to ensure numbers are correct and on track. * Work with the wider business (IT, Compliance, Product, Marketing…) to ensure digital material is compliant on brand and technically sound.
* Work with Product Managers (CRM, CMS, apps and online banking) to ensure all marketing requirements (UX, MVT, tracking) are integrated accordingly into product roadmaps and delivered.
* Represent the Digital department and online clients in discussions and projects across the busines ensuring you are up to date with market trends and strategies. * Oversee the tracking, measurement and reporting of acquisition, retention and LTV using a variety of web analytics tools (Firebase, Google Analytics, HotJar, etc.
) * Own and manage the development and optimisation of owned channels (AppStore and Social) * Hire, manage and develop the digital team, ensuring continual professional development and engagement with the wider business.About you * 5-7 years proven experience as a Head of Digital, Performance/Digital Manager or similar role.
Preferably client experience in a FinTech, Bank or regulated business * Experience in running (international) online performance marketing campaigns * Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices * Experience managing the delivery of technical projects while driving client acquisition and retention.
* Practical knowledge of using web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, HotJar etc.) and combining them with business data to form business KPIs * Analytical mindset, critical thinking and detail orientated * Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, written and verbal communication skills - English essential, Spanish a benefit * A self-starter, can manage yourself and drive the team around you * Confident in communicating with your team and senior colleagues and partners * Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience * Experience or an affinity with financial services, payments/banking or FX trading is a bonus but not essential
