The Role - Learning Support Assistant
For this role, we are actively recruiting for a friendly and well-mannered Learning Support Assistant to join a great team of staff in a SEN school to provide 1:1 support to students with various Special Educational Needs and learning difficulties. The role will require you to build a rapport with the student so that you may encourage them to become more proactive and independent with their learning and socialising. Due to the students' needs, the ideal Learning Support Assistant will need to have experience working with children or young people who have Special Educational Needs such as Autism, ADHD, Visual Impairment or Speech and Language Difficulty. Only full-time candidates will be considered for this position.
SEN School - Learning Support Assistant
This thriving SEN school is located in Barking and caters for students aged between 3-18 years who have Special Educational Needs. They currently have 647 students who attend the school and an Ofsted rating of 'Outstanding' in all areas from their last inspection in May 2019. The school pride themselves on preparing students for life after school and thrive on promoting independence and enhancing social skills.
