IT Teacher

Remedy Education work closely with a high achieving secondary school based in Lewisham who are seeking an IT and Computing Teacher to join their IT department. This IT teaching role is for a full time, on-going position, starting after Easter for the right Teacher. The successful IT Teacher will be able to deliver engaging lessons and demonstrate good behaviour and classroom management.

Contracts/Positions Details

• Lewisham
• Position- IT Teacher
• Type of work- Long term
• Start Date- September 2022
• Contract- Until July 2023 but expected to be extended or temp to perm
• Hours- 8:30am- 3.45pm

Experience, Training and Qualifications

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE or Equivalent
• Proven experience teaching IT at GCSE level
• Previous experience working in a UK secondary School
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

To be Eligible for this role through Remedy Education, you must:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
