Paraplanner

Great opportunity for a Paraplanner to join this well-established financial services company based in Maidstone.

You will be talking to potential clients over the phone on behalf of financial advisors to gather and record relevant information accurately and concisely. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within Paraplanning or a Technical role gained within an advisory practice.

Duties include:

• Quickly building relationships with clients over the phone so they are comfortable sharing and discussing sensitive personal information.
• Identifying key points and digging deeper for more information.
• Helping clients understand their options and checking back with them that the information they have provided is accurate.
• Preparing for each call by reading the background notes on each client and checking any recommended plan details.
• Accurately, clearly, and concisely documenting all information so that the financial advisors can review it and recommend the most appropriate plans.

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous Financial Services, Paraplanning or Pensions experience.
• Excellent MS Office skills (Excel)
• Great communication skills with a warm and friendly manner, plus tact and empathy when discussing sensitive personal information.
• Good analytical skills and the ability to pick out important points that need further exploring.
• The ability to prioritise and plan your workload.
• A positive, pro-active attitude.
