Reporting to the Production Manager and working with the Shift teams, you will be charged with monitoring and improving the Production performance of equipment across the site.
The Role:Oversee and assess existing processes and workflows.Optimise productivity by designing, implementing and testing new procedures.Assemble reports to document process status and changes.Track metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades.
Communicate findings and proposals to senior management and wider teamConduct risk assessments.Assess compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.Working a Monday – Friday (DAYS ONLY) Shift Pattern.About You:ü Engineering / Science Degree or equivalent qualification (Process Engineering HND seen as advantageous).
Experienced Process Engineers who have grown their skills within Industry will be considered, providing they can demonstrate the required skills for the role.ü Detailed understanding of Statistical Process Control theory, including methods of design & implementationü Thorough understanding of machine and process capability managementü Extensive analytical skillsü Good understanding of change management governanceü Strong understanding of Lean process and experience in lean manufacturing environmentü Experience of leading and implementing CapEx and improvement projectsü Good knowledge about RCP methodology and able to drive problem solvingü A recognised qualification such as Six Sigma would be beneficial (but not essential) as would experience of managing print processes and standards across a manufacturing siteThis is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established multi-site packaging company with a world class reputation.
