Finance Assistant

You will be based in Skipton, with on-site parking available. The role will require you to work in the office on a full-time basis, however once you have met your probation, you are welcome to take advantage of their hybrid working model, further supporting a positive work/life balance.

This opportunity is open to part/fully AAT qualified candidates, as well as more junior candidates looking to start their career in finance.

What you'll be doing

• Oversight of processing purchase invoices and offering support where required
• Raise ad-hoc sales invoices and support with raising bulk sales invoices (with a view to taking full responsibility of this in the future)
• Processing and approving payments through the online banking platform
• Assistance with quarterly and annual management accounts and auditing as required
• Supporting the Financial Controller with additional finance related tasks and support
• Support with credit control
• Back-up to dealing with finance-related queries internally and externally
• Oversight and completion of several end of month processes including bank reconciliation, end of month payment run, reconciliation of internal spreadsheets, credit card etc.
• Completion and subsequent reporting of monthly cashflow.

What you'll need

• Part or fully AAT qualified
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Highly organised and efficient
• Excellent communication skills

On offer is a salary of between �21,000-�24,000, dependent on experience.
