Information Security - Cyber Security- Computer Science Computing - Firewalls - Vulnerability Testing - Security Monitoring - Proxies, Antivirus and IDS / IPS concepts

Strong interest and experience in Security, Understanding of Networks and Systems - SIEM and EDR

Desirable - knowledge of ISO:27001, PCI standards

This well-known and successful business have an opportunity for an IT Security Analyst based near Stevenage. You will work as part of an internal IT & Technology team who focus on implementing, maintaining and enhancing the security of internal/external company IT network and systems.

You will have a strong interest in IT Security and most likely studied in the field of Cyber Security, InfoSec, Network Security or similar - this is a chance for you to build on those skills and grow as a professional in a new environment.

The right candidate:

** A background and demonstrable interest in IT Security / Cyber Security

** Proactive approach to Vulnerability testing and Threat Hunting

** Investigating, documenting, and reporting security breaches

** Installing and upgrading software to protect information & data infrastructure

** Desirable ** Some knowledge of security standards around ISO 27001, PCI and similar
