History & Criminology Teacher
We are currently working with a Stoke-on-Trent secondary academy that is seeking to appoint a qualified History & Criminology (L3 Applied) Teacher to start after the Easter holidays for maternity cover until the end of the academic year (July 2022).Our partnership secondary school is well-known for its energetic atmosphere, incredible facilities, and wide-ranging curriculum.

The Role Start date is Monday 25th April 2022Full time (Monday-Friday).Work is guaranteed until the end of the academic year (maternity contact ending July 2022).Role Requirements Be a confident communicator, an excellent motivator, and can build good rapport with students and fellow staff.
Hold the relevant teaching History qualification (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons) with a Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).Deliver exciting and engaging History and Criminology lessons using your own initiative and have good knowledge of the national curriculum for both subjects.
Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service or be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).Your salary will be dependent on your qualifications, experience, and teaching status.
The minimum qualification that you must require for this role is a Qualified Teaching Status and that you must be able to provide professional references that evidence your experience of teaching both History and Criminology to Key Stage 4 & 5.Academics are a leading national education agency that specialises in the recruitment of permanent, long term and daily supply teachers and support staff.
