Our client is a highly regarded Law firm with several offices in the region who are looking to add an experienced IT Support Consultant to their team. Based in Warwickshire this hybrid role (3 days office and 2 remote) is a new role in the business and has come about as the company continue to experience growth in their key areas.  Working in a team of 5 you will provide a mixture of 2nd Line. 3rd line and Project support to the business. This will include resolving IT queries via email, phone or in person as well as undertaking continued IT systems and software maintenance and testing to optimise IT performance across the offices.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

  • You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders on hardware, software and communications issues as well as support ongoing and new projects across the business. 
  • Making recommendations to enhance IT performance and to identify and prevent future problems.
  • Working with wider team to prioritise and resolve IT concerns - escalating serious issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Day to day support of 1st and 2nd line colleagues to resolve incoming client and personnel IT queries remotely via email and phone, or at the office.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • You will possess excellent people and communication skills and therefore should have experience of working in a role which offered both previous face-face and telephone-based IT support to customers.
  • You will have worked in an ITIL environment previously and possess strong experience of Microsoft products including MS Server 2016/ 2019, MS Exchange 2016 / SQL Server, Windows Server Admin, Office365 configuration as well as some previous project management experience.
  • Any experience of case management tools would be a plus as would previous legal sector experience although this is not essential.
  • The ideal candidate will have a hunger to make a difference, be eager to continually learn and the ability to prioritise in a constantly evolving environment
