Purchase Ledger Clerk
Purchase Ledger Clerk required for an exciting permanent opportunity for an expanding business based in Walsall. The business have evolved over the years they have been established and are proud to be a valued and leading business within their sector. Working as part of a friendly finance team, your duties will include: - Day to day processing of supplier invoices circa 1000 a month.
- Work with the operations and finance colleagues to ensure invoices processed within agreed timeframes - Reconciliation of supplier statements - Manage and produce weekly payment runs. - Monthly Supplier Statement reconciliations.
- Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details - Managing petty cash - Processing staff expenses - Build a rapport and develop relationships with suppliers - Monthly reporting - Calculating VAT payments - Managing AP mailbox, handling queries by phone and email Skills and Knowledge: - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - Able to manage own workload adhering to tight deadlines - Keen and willing to learn - Proactive and methodical approach to tasks The business is based in the heart of Walsall and offer a modern and open plan working environment, they are easily accessible by public transport and on site parking is available.
