Collections Specialist

Think Specialist Recruitment are supporting a leading employer in the Watford area who are looking for a Collections Specialist to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly recognisable organisation who have flourished over the past few years!

The ideal candidate will have clear communication skills, professionalism and the ability to multi task. Previous credit control or collections experience is required for this role.

Duties to include:

• To resolve any invoice queries for your assigned Portfolio of Clients - liaising with all relevant stakeholders.
• Contact Clients via outbound calls and written communication
• Use Excel daily to generate statements and reports
• Work alongside Line Managers daily to reconcile all Customer Accounts

Candidate Requirements

• A background in Credit Control/Collections is essential - the successful candidate will have at least 6 months experience in a collections role or similar.
• Strong customer focus and good telephone manner with strong negotiation skills
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and colleagues
• Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively
• Confidence and good business sense
• Ability to remain calm when under pressure
• Confidence to ask for help when required
