Machine Operator

Are you a Zund Operator, Cutter Operator, Applications Support Technician or Production Engineer, with knowledge of Zund machines or similar cutter digital flatbed cutting technology? Are you looking to expand your talents into a customer-facing role? As our Applications Support Technician, you will be performing customer product demonstrations and training sessions for our prestigious industrial brand! We are offering decent bonus-earning, with an extra open-ended quarterly commission scheme.

BASIC SALARY: £24,000 - £28,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Machine Operator, Applications Support Technician, Cutter Operator, Production Engineer, Zund Operator - Print, Leather, Fabric, Packaging, Large Format Print, Automotive

This is a consultative Applications Support Technician role. After extensive training at our HQ, you will be the face of our brand, performing live demonstrations and conducting in-house training, for our high-value capital equipment (and associated software). These will be delivered during warm appointments, into various types and sizes of manufacturing companies.

Duties will include:

· Delivering 4-8 customer demonstrations per week
· Material testing and customer test cuts
· Creating sampled and refreshing our sample stock
· Supporting sales & marketing with cut samples
· Providing technical support
· Delivering training, both at HQ & customer site visits
· Exhibition support

· You will have experience in any of the following sectors: Formula 1, Motorsport, Automotive, Aerospace, Composites, Print, Packaging, Graphics, Technical Textiles
· Charismatic and professionally-minded with integrity.
