This 'Good' secondary school is seeking to appoint an English teacher to join a popular and forward-thinking faculty, with a deep commitment to delivering excellent results at both GCSE and A Level. Expectations of you and your responsibilities:

• You will deliver content to at least GCSE and A-Level English
• You will be responsible for the welfare and safeguarding of children within your class
• Ensuring that the classroom is kept in a safe and presentable manner
• Attendance parents evening and some extra-curricular activities and team meetings
• Meeting deadlines for marking and providing feedback on work

Minimum requirements to apply:

• Hold a degree level qualification
• You will have completed, or will are expecting to achieve, a post-graduate teaching qualification and have QTS
• Successfully completing pre-employment checks including DBS checks
• You will not be disqualified from working with children
