THE JOB:Sales Ledger AdministratorUp to £24k per annumWickford, EssexPermanent, Full time9 am to 5 pm Monday to FridayTwo 20 minute breaks (paid) | 30 minute lunch break (unpaid)We are recruiting for a Sales Ledger Administrator to join our client based in Wickford, Essex. Our client is a leading national distributor in the construction industry.
This role sits within their busy accounts team.Main Duties * Production of daily invoices and monthly statements. * Taking customer telephone calls and solving queries. * Setting up new customer accounts. * Maintenance of existing account details on the system.
* Taking and processing customer payments. * All aspects of credit control including chasing overdue payments. * Raising credit notes. * General office administration supporting the team.Key skills and experience * Previous account administration experience preferred. * Strong customer communication skills.
* Comfortable picking the phone up and speaking to customers confidently. * Computer literate with Microsoft Office. * Ability to multi-task and adapt to a varied and challenging role. * Team player. * Positive attitude
