Senior Software Developer - Software Development Department – Wynyard, TS22 5FG – Full Remote - £47,000 to £57,000 plus benefits

The Position: 

We have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our Software Development Team. As a Senior Developer, you would report in to one of our Lead Developers.

The Duties:

In this position, you will be;

  • Building software using C# .NET technologies.
  • Writing of SQL scripts for data manipulation, including roll back scripts.
  • Identify the cause of bugs and implement bug fixes.
  • Mentoring, supporting, and encouraging our junior developers.
  • Identifying areas where we can make performance improvements, help develop new features and make our platform more testable.
  • Work in adherence to agile practices. 

What we’re looking for:

To be successful in this position you will need to possess the following 

  • A deep understanding of ASP.NET with C#. 
  • A good understand of JavaScript and related frameworks.
  • Proficient with MS SQL and developing queries for high performance stored procedures.
  • Knowledgeable in either .NET Core .NET 5 or .NET 6.
  • A demonstratable background of working to SOLID design principles.
  • A strong understanding of TDD.
  • A willingness to get involved with changes, at all levels, within our tech stack.
