Summary:Â This leadership role involves providing strategic financial support, managing accounting and financial reporting, and advising the business unit's leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial transformation using digital tools
- Support leadership in managing orders, sales, revenue growth, costs, and working capital
- Develop and report analytics to influence decision-making
- Prepare monthly management accounts and oversee general ledger month-end close
- Manage weekly cash forecasting and annual operating budget
- Ensure compliance with tax requirements and liaise with HMRC, banks, and auditors
- Lead external financial audits and assist with Company Secretary duties
- Manage financial processes for strategic projects
- Develop and manage a high-performance team
- Perform supervisory responsibilities in various financial areas
Key Competencies:
- Strong leadership and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and strategic mindset
- Ability to handle confidential information and work under pressure
- Good organisational skills and capacity to handle high work volume
- Collaborative and able to work in a matrixed team environment
Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant
- 8-10+ years of related experience, including 5+ years in a supervisory role
- Manufacturing and inventory accounting experience preferred
