About the Role:

We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join our client and play a critical role in ensuring their products and services consistently meet the highest quality standards. In this position, you will take ownership of quality assurance processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure full compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and API Q1 standards across all company sites.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve quality management system documentation, including procedures and work instructions, to ensure ISO and API standard compliance.

  • Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure quality standards are integrated throughout the production process.

  • Coordinate calibration of equipment across all sites and liaise with suppliers to manage calibration effectively.

  • Monitor quality performance metrics and produce regular reports.

  • Perform internal and external audits and support third-party assessments of the Integrated Management System.

  • Manage and maintain documentation related to Non Destructive Testing (NDT) and ensure adherence to industry standards.

  • Support supplier quality management, including producing HSEQ performance reports.

  • Assist with HSEQ activities and act as deputy for the HSEQ Co-ordinator when required.



What We're Looking For:

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong attention to detail and time management.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to interpret and apply technical specifications and standards.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

  • Experienced in quality tools and methodologies (Fishbone, 5 Whys, 8D, etc.).

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree-qualified or equivalent experience in Quality Engineering or Quality Control.

  • Previous experience in the UK Renewables or Oil & Gas sector.

  • Familiarity with NDT inspection methods and documentation (preferred).

  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and API Q1, 7-1, 7-2.

  • Internal or Lead Auditor qualification (preferred).
