Our client is currently recruiting for a Quality Systems and Improvement Specialist. Based in Aberdeen, the role will be on a permanent (staff) basis and offers hybrid working.
ROLE
Delivering many of world’s largest offshore windfarm projects. Predictable performance is critical to project delivery. To support this, we are looking for a Quality Systems and Improvement Specialist to join our team. The Quality Systems and Improvement Specialist will be the focal point within the Quality function for business management system assurance and ways of working improvement. This position offers a significant opportunity for an experienced quality specialist who flourishes in an engaging environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting the development of the annual plan of campaigns, compliance, and improvement initiatives.
- Leading business improvement initiatives and activities within the Quality function, promoting positive working relationships with other internal functions.
- Undertakes analysis of trend data on company performance, reports outcomes, and acts as a catalyst for incremental change in business performance.
- Ambassador for lessons learned communication and knowledge sharing.
- Drives delivery of management review process across the business and communicates results.
- Focal point externally and internally for company ISO certification.
- Implementation of ISO certification audit programme across the business.
- Supports the development of audit programme and audit focus areas, in collaboration with business unit operations teams and internal functions.
- Supports delivery of the audit programme.
- Business Management System (BMS) governance including development and improvement of company content.
- Provides support to all functions for BMS reviews and content revision.
- Focal point within group for management system and business tools updates including change impact assessment and implementation plan.
- Provides familiarisation and training on company performance delivery tools and management system.
- Writing and development of company specific procedures in collaboration with subject matter experts and key stakeholders.
- Technical editing and review of existing functional procedures.
- Ensure HSSEQ SharePoint site is maintained with up-to-date information.
- Provide updates to virtual library for country specific Legislation and guidance.
- Maintenance of Interested Parties / Risk and Opportunity register.
- Supports independent investigation, root cause analysis and incident case management activities across the business.
- Supports tendering activities and preparation of tender Quality deliverables.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experienced Management Systems and Business Improvement Professional.
- Degree level qualification or equivalent experience.
- Qualified and experienced lead auditor.
- Extensive knowledge of ISO Quality and HSE Standards.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Quality discipline within heavy industry - Renewables / Oil and Gas Sector
- Well-developed organizational, communication, digital literacy, and report writing skills are sought after.
- Capable of presentation and discussion at Senior Management Level.
- Demonstrated experience in Incident Management and Investigation, utilizing root cause analysis tools and methodologies.
- Demonstrated abilities in resolving issues through methodical and organized approaches.
