The Copthorne Hotel Aberdeenis seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to support the Head Chef in providing high standards of food.
What are we expecting from a Chef de Partie?
- Prepare mise-en-place for all menus, cook and present food as per kitchen standards, including staff meals.
- Prepare all dishes to the required standard, ensuring correct portion control as instructed by the Head Chef.
- Operate and clean equipment correctly and safely, adhering to maintenance and cleaning schedules.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe and tidy at all times.
- Support and supervise the Kitchen team, as appropriate.
- Control the security of company stock and property.
- Adhere to all regulations in respect of Health, Safety, Hygiene, Guest Safety, Fire Regulations, Emergency Procedures etc.
- To display a pleasant manner and positive 'can do' attitude at all times.
What we are looking for?
- Previous experience as Chef de Partie
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekend work. Various shifts available.
