Sonic Summary

Reed Engineering is seeking a CNC Machinist for a permanent position in Aberdeen.
The role offers an hourly rate of £17 to £20 and requires a time-served Machinist or HNC/NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience.
Candidates should have experience operating lathes or milling machines and a flexible approach to working overtime.
Daily duties include operating and maintaining lathe and milling machines, monitoring production, and reviewing technical drawings.
A valid driving license is also required for this position.

Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who is looking to add a CNC Machinist to their team on a permanent basis. You will be based in Aberdeen.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Hourly Rate: 17 - 20p/hour

Daily Duties -

Operate and maintain lathe and milling machine
Monitor production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary
Review drawings, instructions, or samples to determine dimensions and tolerances

Candidate Requirements -

Time-served Machinist or HNC/NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience
Experience operating lathes or milling machines
Flexible approach to working over-time with the ability to work on own initiative
Driving Licence
