Job Title: Systems Modelling Specialist
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 + benefits
Location: Aberdeen
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
We’re recruiting on behalf of a client in the energy technology sector for a Systems Modelling Specialist. The role focuses on performance modelling and simulation of advanced telemetry systems, supporting both R&D and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct signal performance modelling (COMSOL, MATLAB, Python).
- Improve modelling techniques for greater real-world accuracy.
- Produce reports and present modelling outcomes.
- Work with planning teams to design and deliver solutions.
Skills & Experience:
- Degree in engineering, physics, or related subject.
- Experience in multi-physics modelling (COMSOL preferred).
- Strong MATLAB, Python, and Excel skills.
- Knowledge of electrical theory.
- (Desirable) Energy sector or well construction knowledge.
