Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a Materials Controller to their team on a permanent basis. You’ll be based in the Laurencekirk area.

Hours: Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.30pm, Friday 8am – 4pm

Salary: £28K – £35K

Daily Duties –

  • Scheduling workload for rig returns area (Rig Prep / Inspection / Deterioration Monitoring Jobs)
  • Job-specific cost analysis and reporting (rig prep / rig return / transport / cranes / labour etc)
  • Assisting with conducting Monthly / Annual inventory counts and discrepancy reconciliation
  • Preparing accurate Daily Movements reports, maintaining stock records, and document packages e.g. tallies, traceability reports
  • Management of Customer Owned Inventory – condition status, usage, and movement, and reports

Candidate Requirements –

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within a material control position
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or pipe yard environment
  • Forklift licence (desirable)
  • Driving Licence
