Cammach are currently recruiting for a Workshop Mechanic for an oil & gas client in the Inverurie area. This is a permanent position for an established expanding client.
Applicants should have a background in Diesel engines, compressors and generators. It would be highly advantageous to have experience with well service equipment and top side Diesel driven units.
ROLE
Mechanical Engineer: is responsible for undertaking jobs and work instruction from Workshop Supervisor and of the Company’s operational activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities and Authority:
- General workshop duties.
- Work on diesel driven equipment / packages.
- Fault finding and creating reports.
- Work on own or as part of a team.
- Repairs, refurbishments, upgrades and maintenance on top side equipment.
- Follow company job cards and detailed work scopes.
- Keep workshop timesheet up to date on all jobs on their own tablet device.
- To follow organisational integrated management system policies and procedures in compliance to ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other legal requirements.
- Participate in HSEQ training or other identified training and personal development.
Main Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Assist with any customer and/or third-party tasks.
- Represent the Company in a professional manner both on and off the job.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the Management Team.
- Assist with Forklift when required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word.
- Time served Mechanic with certificates of training to back this up.
- Semi-skilled Mechanic (depending on the needs and requirements of the business) with certificates of training to back this up.
