ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE CONSIDERED – ADDITIONAL TRAINING PROVIDED
Ideally you will have worked within a similar role. However, we will consider candidates who have strong communication skills, are happy to travel, with the ability to present and provide advice to individuals and small groups on energy efficiency (training provided).
SALARY: £23,505 per annum Generous Benefits (see below)

WORKING HOURS: 35 Hours per Week (with flexibility based on service needs)

Working as a Community Support Home Energy Advisor you will deliver face-to-face and telephone advice to householders.
As the Community Support Home Energy Advisor your work will focus on home visits, community advice sessions, presentations, and events, providing impartial guidance on energy efficiency and heating options.
As a successful candidate you’ll play a vital role in helping people reduce fuel bills and adopt low-carbon lifestyles.
DUTIES
Your duties as the Community Support Home Energy Advisor include:
- Deliver clear, impartial energy advice via home visits, phone, and community outreach
- Develop and implement community sessions and projects promoting sustainable energy use
- Build partnerships and represent Scarf at community and partner meetings
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of energy, affordable warmth, and water heating
- Record activity and outcomes using our bespoke CRM system, meeting targets and deadlines
- Work flexibly, including occasional outside normal hours
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in customer-facing, target-driven roles
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex advice simply
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software
- Self-disciplined and able to manage workload independently
- Flexible approach to working hours
