Cammach are recruiting for a Permanent Painter / Shot Blaster for an oil & gas services client in the Aberdeen area. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Carry out Spray Painting to agreed standard.
  • Perform all aspects of a coatings project safely and efficiently.
  • Understanding of different coating systems and required microns.
  • Operate, clean and maintain all painting equipment, including paint robot, brushes, rollers, sprayers, mixing equipment, pumps and PPE.
  • Carry out painting inspection and ensure this is documented to agreed procedure.
  • Maintain a safe work site.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong work ethic
  • Knowledge on areas requiring masking/protection
  • High attention to detail
  • Understanding of the application of high performance coatings.
  • Requires experience with all aspects of painting, surface preparation, finishing and maintenance of a wide variety of industrial structures.
  • Basic understanding of coatings scope documents.
  • Forklift License B2 (preferred but not essential)
  • Proven track record in blasting & painting.
